Description

Connect multiple Garden Grids™ in the same garden or in separate gardens so they can all run off of the same water supply.

Say goodbye to the hassle of messy watering connections, our Multi-Garden Grid™ Connection Manifolds make it easy to connect multiple Garden Grids™ to the same water supply and achieve the perfect water flow for every corner of your garden. Seamlessly connect your main garden hose and up to 2 neighboring Garden Grids™ per manifold to run off of the same water supply, then if needed, connect one of our short hoses to the bottom of the manifold to continue your water to your next garden.

Highlights

  • Endlessly Connect Multiple Garden Grids™ – Interconnect garden hoses from manifold to manifold to run all Garden Grids™ off of one water source.
  • Water Flow Control – Included valves give you independent water flow control for every connected Garden Grid.
  • No Assembly – Simply connect and grow!
  • Connects To Any Standard Garden Hose
  • Designed To Be Long-Lasting

How It Works

Follow these quick and simple step-by-step instructions for installing your Multi-Garden Grid™ Connection Manifold.

Step by Step:

  1. Thread your main garden hose onto the base of the manifold.
  2. Attach one or two Garden Grids™ to the green water flow valves on the top of the manifold.
  3. For added convenience, connect another hose to the base of the manifold to feed off to another Garden Grid™, another manifold, or simply use it as a hose connection point for any other watering needs.
    1. This extra connection point lets you endlessly interconnect as many Garden Grids™ to run off of the same water supply as you want. *The number of Garden Grids you can use at the same time varies based on your PSI and water volume. See FAQs below for details.

Example Uses:

  • Neighboring Garden Grids™: Say you have a 4×10 Raised Garden Bed and put (2) 4×5 Garden Grids™ in it. One manifold would connect the two Garden Grids™ together so they can both run off of your one water source. From this manifold you can attach an outgoing hose to go to another garden.
  • Separate Garden Grids™: Say you have 4 garden beds that are spaced apart & you place one Garden Grid™ in each. You would connect a manifold to the first three Garden Grids™. You then connect our short garden hoses from manifold to manifold, joining them together. Finally, connect a garden hose from the last manifold directly to the last Garden Grid™ (see the tip below for details).
      • Tip: Add our water flow valve to the last, single Garden Grid™ so you can control its water flow more easily. The last Garden Grid™ doesn’t necessarily need a manifold since it’s the end of the connection chain. However, you can use a manifold for consistency. If your garden bed is fairly tall (above 12 inches) we recommend using a manifold for the last Garden Grid™ anyway, to avoid the weight of a hose pulling down on the Garden Grid™.

Specifications

  • Width: 7” at top. 4.5” at bottom. *If two Garden Grids are attached to one manifold, the manifold leaves about a 1/2” gap between them*
  • Height: Variable. Select the height that matches your Raised Garden Bed height. Or order the Lay-Flat option if your Garden Grids™ are used in a ground-level garden or if all connections will remain inside of your raised garden bed walls.

FAQs

How Many Do I Need?

You only need a manifold if you need to supply water to multiple Garden Grids™ or in any garden bed that is above 15” tall (this prevents a heavy hose from hanging off of your Garden Grid’s connector, which is about 13.5” long).

One Manifold is all you need for a single Garden Grid™ or two Garden Grids™ if they are next to each other in the same garden area. Watch below for more details.

What Length Does My Garden Hose Need To Be?
This varies.

Situation 1: Two Garden Grids™ on One Manifold – If you are connecting two neighboring Garden Grids™ to one manifold, the manifold will sit right in the middle of those two. Measure from that point to where you need the hose to go.

Situation 2: One Garden Grid™ on One Manifold – If you are connecting one Garden Grid™ to one manifold, the manifold will sit at the corner of the Garden Grid or 30” from the end of The Garden Grid™ if you rotate the Garden Grid’s™ water feed tube toward the middle. See Below. Measure from that point to where you need the hose to go.

Manifold Measuring Image

Can I Connect Just One Garden Grid™ To A Manifold?

Yes! Each connection side of the manifold (the green parts on the top) has water control valves. These valves let you turn water on/off and all points between, for either connection side of the manifold. So if you want, you can have one Garden Grid™ connected to one side of the manifold and the other green connection point unused. This comes in handy if you have multiple garden beds that only need one Garden Grid™, but the beds are spaced apart.

How Do I Interconnect Garden Grids™ That Are Spaced Apart, Using The Manifold?

The bottom of each manifold has an inlet and outlet for garden hoses. Connect a garden hose to the outlet side (capped side) and feed it to your other garden. Connect to another multi-Garden Grid™ connection manifold, or directly to a Garden Grid™.

Garden Grid Manifold with explainers

Can The Manifold Connect To A Sprinkler/Irrigation Line?

In short, yes! You can feed water to the Garden Grid™ Manifold from nearly any water source. The most common of course is a garden hose from your spigot.

You can feed water to the Garden Grid™ Manifold from your sprinkler system or existing irrigation as long as you have a garden hose adaptor. From this adaptor you can simply run a garden hose to your Garden Grid™ Manifold, or connect it directly. Watch how here.

California Customer Proposition 65 Info

Who is required to display a Prop 65 notice?

Proposition 65 requires companies to put this notice on their products if there is any ingredient that tests over 1/1000th of what the World Health Organization deems as “Safe Harbor Levels” of their list of chemicals, which includes some naturally occurring minerals. While many countries and states rely on federal governing bodies to set these levels in place, California has created their own law and stipulations that companies must adhere to if they plan to do business in the state of California. No other state or country enforces Proposition 65 law aside from the state of California. When a company includes a Proposition 65 warning notice on a product page or label, it does not mean the product is unsafe. The warning notice is included to inform California consumers of the presence of a Proposition 65-listed chemical so the consumer can make an informed decision when purchasing the product.

California’s PROP 65

Formerly known as Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act, Proposition 65 requires the publication of a list of chemicals that the State of California determines causes cancer or birth defects. They also require companies that sell products that contain those chemicals to inform California residents about the risk of exposure to such chemicals by including a warning notice on the product label, or to inform the customer in an approved way before purchase. Proposition 65 warning notices can be seen all throughout California in restaurants, grocery stores, hotels, bars, schools, hospitals, amusement parks and on products such as lumber, pre-packaged food, various hardware, supplements, clothing, etc.

Our California Prop 65 Notice

⚠WARNING: This product contains a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer or birth-defects. For more information, go to www.P65Warnings.ca.gov

Although some Garden In Minutes products may have a Proposition 65 warning notice, the materials used in our products such as LLDPE tubing, ABS fittings, Stainless Steel, etc. are commonly used in everyday life, organic gardening, and even drinking water lines. Despite this, we add a Prop 65 warning to our product pages for Californians out of an over abunance of caution as a growing family company who cares about our customer. Thanks!

The manifold rocks! I have it placed on top of the rain barrel that has my sump pump (I have 2 rain barrels that are attached via PVC pipe at the bottom of the barrels). So, the hose from the sump pump is attached on the lower left. The two hoses on the right side go to the grid systems. Upper left shows another hose that I use for some pots that are scattered around the area.
