Reviews

Exceptional quality!

"It started off with one 4z4 grid, then I came back for a second one and I'm about to purchase my third! Everything is super well made and easy to set up! The connector was a life saver because I set up my gardens few feet apart. So far I've loved every product I've purchased and although they aren't cheep they're well worth the money in a long run"

My garden is thriving now

"My garden is thriving now that it’s getting watered consistently ✨💦! Easy to set up. Added a timer and within a week, my plants have grown and are looking so healthy 🌻."

Denise (5/5)

Nice concept but does not

"Nice concept but does not work with multiple grids and a lower PSI in water lines. I now have to purchase a pump of some kind to push the water out to the grids that will cost most likely another $200"

Jim s. (5/5)

"Every single item that I have purchased from your company has been topped rated. It has made my garden, so efficient and effective. The lay flat double valve is more compact and easier to manipulate."

Pamela (5/5)

I’m still working to set

"I’m still working to set up my garden but have begun to use them and so far they have been working great and I’m excited to complete them. My suggestion is to size up, because it’s easier to size down. I originally measured based on the inner planting space of my bed, not the outer walls. GIM bases it on outer and grids run smaller than size."

TONIA P. (5/5)

Excellent system, took a little

"Excellent system, took a little thinking to get all the hoses connect, but well worth the money."

Although these units are pricey,

"Although these units are pricey, they work amazing. I’m very happy with the grid method of watering my garden. Thank you for a great product."

Elizabeth M. (5/5)

You guys make everything so

"You guys make everything so fool-proof and the connection manifold is no exception, I wish I had ordered mine a little longer , thanks for making everything so easy for this beginner gardener."

SHERYL P. (5/5)

I used the irrigation grid

"I used the irrigation grid in a 4x8 Vego raised bed and it fits and works perfectly. I bought the corner-less to fit in the round corners of the bed"

Jorge L. (5/5)

Manifold

"They work great for a single. I have no pressure at the end of my connection so not sure what I will do."

Q&A

Manifold FAQ Order & Shipping FAQ
  • Each manifold includes both an inlet and an outlet for garden hoses.

To connect separate gardens, attach a hose to the outlet (the capped end) of one manifold and run it to your next garden. From there, connect it to the inlet of another manifold or directly to a Garden Grid™.

  • You’ll need a manifold if you’re linking multiple Garden Grids™ together.

For raised beds taller than 15", we recommend using a manifold regardless to support the hose connection and reduce strain on your Garden Grid™ connector (which is about 13.5" long). It’s not required, but it helps keep everything aligned and supported.

Use a Single Manifold for one Garden Grid™.

Use a Double Manifold for two Garden Grids™ positioned side-by-side.

Diagram showing three ways to use manifolds to connect garden grids with hoses
  • No. If you’re using a single Garden Grid™ and don’t plan to connect additional beds, you can attach your garden hose directly to it.

However, for raised beds taller than 15", we recommend using a manifold to help support the hose connection and reduce strain on the Garden Grid™ connector.

A manifold also keeps the setup tidier and makes expansion easy if you decide to add more Garden Grids™ later.

  • It depends on your water pressure, hose length, and layout.

Watch the video below for real-world examples and tips.

  • Yes! You can supply the Garden Grid™ with nearly any water source—as long as you have the right connection. Most gardeners use a standard garden hose from a spigot, but the Garden Grid™ can also be fed from an existing sprinkler or irrigation system.

As long as your sprinkler or irrigation line has a garden hose thread adapter (a common part at most hardware stores), you can run a hose straight to the Garden Grid™—or connect directly at the adapter. From there, water flow is easy to control using a simple valve or one of our Garden Grid™ manifolds with a built-in valve, keeping everything simple, visible, and easy to adjust.

  • Each manifold includes individual shutoff valves for every Garden Grid™ connection.

You can adjust the flow or turn water off to one Garden Grid™ while others continue watering — giving you simple, at-the-bed control without walking back to the spigot.

  • Hose length depends on your manifold setup.

    Double Manifold

The manifold sits centered between the two side-by-side Garden Grids™.

Measure from the middle point between those Garden Grids™ to wherever your hose needs to reach.

    Single Manifold

The manifold sits at the end (corner) of the Garden Grid™.

However, if you rotate the Garden Grid™ water feed tube to point toward the middle of the Garden Grid, the manifold will sit about 30" from the end of the Garden Grid™.

Measure from the final manifold position to where your hose needs to go. See below for examples.

    Garden Grid Hose Length
  • Yes. You can use any standard hose timer at your spigot, then run your hose to the Garden Grid™ Manifold as usual. The timer controls when water turns on and off, while the manifold lets you control flow to each connected Garden Grid™ individually.

For the best fit with your GIM™ watering setup, we recommend a GIM™ Automatic Hose Timer. It’s built for higher flow and secure brass hose connections, helping keep watering simple, reliable, and easy to control.

Garden In Minutes watering timer attached to an outdoor faucet
  • Yes. However, like any watering component, we recommend disconnecting and draining manifolds in freezing conditions.

  • No. Manifolds use standard garden hose thread connections and seal properly when hand-tightened.
