These expansion kits are designed for 17" tall GIM™ Metal Raised Garden Beds that are 2ft or 4ft wide.

They are not compatible with 30" or 42" wide configurations or our 32" tall beds.

No. These kits are designed to extend the length of your bed only.

They’re perfect for turning something like a 4×8 bed into a 4×10 or a 2×10 into a 2×12. They won’t make a 4ft wide bed into a 6ft wide one — the included support rods are only sized for length extensions and wouldn’t reach.

Yes! Many gardeners start with one expansion and add more later as their garden grows. Each Expansion Kit includes a support rod set, so no matter how long you make your garden bed, it stays sturdy and well supported.

Expansion kits add either 1.5 ft or 2 ft of length, depending on the panel size.
