Specifications
- All-in-one garden irrigation system & plant spacing grid.
- No tools required – quick 2 to 5 piece assembly, depending on size.
- Connect to any other Garden Grid™ to cover larger garden spaces.
- You control the water streams – from drip irrigation to a full stream.
- Built-in pressure regulating disk to help balance water flow.
- Internal 80-mesh filter screen to keep your Garden Grid™ free of debris from incoming water.
- Built from American-made, UV-resistant LLDPE tubing. The same type of material commonly used for water lines in water filtration systems. ABS plastic fittings and a PVC hose connector. (Materials commonly used for household water lines.)
- Ground-Level Gardens or Raised Gardens – Garden Grids™ can be used for either style of gardening.
- Raised Bed Thickness Considered – We size all Garden Grids™ to fit the interior dimensions of most raised garden beds, accounting for garden bed material thickness.
-
- Example: A 4×4 Garden Grid™ measures ~44″x44″ to fit the interior dimensions of a 4ft by 4ft garden bed. If the garden bed is made with 1.5″ thick wood, this leaves a planting area of 45″x45″, just enough room for the 4×4 Garden Grid™ to fit perfectly.
- Don’t Have A Raised Garden Yet? Order our All-In-One Raised Garden Bundles. They include our raised garden bed, Garden Grid™, and Manifold all perfectly sized for each other.
-
- Link Multiple Garden Grids™ – 5-6 4×4 Garden Grids™ can water simultaneously on common (~35 PSI) household water pressure & more with higher pressure & water flow. Endlessly link them and turn each Garden Grid™ on/off individually with our Garden Grid™ Manifolds and custom-length garden hoses. *sold separately*
How To Use
- Set up your Garden Grid™ in a clean, flat area by connecting the open tubes of one section to the brown fittings of the next section.
- Simply push and wiggle them together to assemble the grid incrementally.
- Once the sections are connected, lay the grid on top of your garden’s soil and attach the water feed tube — this is your link to the garden hose or Garden Grid™ manifold, if you have one.
- If needed, attach the trimmable riser before connecting the water feed tube.
- Now, connect your garden hose and turn on the water.
That’s it! Your Garden Grid™ is now ready to use and keep your garden thriving for years to come.
FAQs
Why Do I Need The Garden Grid™?
Unlike conventional garden watering systems with poor coverage and difficult set ups, our patented Garden Grid™ comes pre-assembled, gives your garden full-coverage watering, and provides you with fully-adjustable water flow and predefined square planting sections for your garden – allowing you to plant evenly, more efficiently, and with less effort. The ground-level water streams help saturate your soil more quickly than drip irrigation and soaker hoses, reduce the risk of plant damage and disease caused by overhead watering, and reduce water loss to evaporation. Plus, its all-season durability is designed to withstand a wide range of temperatures, from cold, frozen winters to warm summers.
Which Size Should I Buy?
We size Garden Grids™ to fit the interior dimensions of most gardens, accounting for garden bed material thickness. To know which Garden Grid™ will fit your garden bed, reference the overall size of a Garden Grid™ in our product details and in the product title. Example: A 4×4 Garden Grid™ measures ~44″x~44″.
If your garden bed is larger than any single Garden Grid™ size, you can connect multiple Garden Grids™ together with our multi-Garden Grid™ connection manifold
*Assembled sizes can vary slightly.
Can The Garden Grid™ Connect To A Sprinkler/Irrigation Line?
In short, yes! You can feed water to the Garden Grid™ from nearly any water source. The most common of course is a garden hose from your spigot.
You can feed water to the Garden Grid™ from your sprinkler system or existing irrigation as long as you have a garden hose adaptor. From this adaptor, you can simply run a garden hose to your Garden Grid™, or connect it directly.
Do I Need A Pressure Reducer? What's The Min & Max PSI? Can I Use A Rain Barrel?
Pressure Reducer: Do you need one? Nope! Fortunately, pressure regulators are not needed for Garden Grids™.
Min PSI: Most home PSI ranges from 35-70 PSI. We recommend a minimum of 10 PSI to operate a Garden Grid™ to its full ability.
Max PSI: Traditional watering systems, like drip lines, can burst above 30 PSI, so they often use pressure reducers. To solve this, we designed the Garden Grid™ to work with a wide range of PSI making household max PSI not much of a concern.
Rain Barrel Supplies: A sump pump is recommended if using a rain barrel.
How Many Garden Grids™ Can Water At One Time?
It depends! Watch below for details and tips.
What Should I Do If I Am In-Between Sizes?
Order the closest size to fit the interior of your garden, without going over. You can twist the perimeter tubes around so they spray water outward into your extra planting area. Below is a video showing how.
BUT, if you are within an inch or two of the next size up fitting, order the next size up. We leave roughly 1/8th of an inch of extra room at all tube and fitting connections so you can “shrink” the Garden Grid™. This is simply done by pushing and wiggling the tubes on that extra 1/8th of an inch.
For example, you can shrink a 4×4 Garden Grid which is normally 44”x44”, down to about 42.25”x42.25”. A 3×8 Garden Grid™ which is normally 33.5”x88”, down to about 32”x85”. Or say a 2×6 Garden Grid™ which is normally 22.5”x66”, down to about ~21.5”x63.75”

Do You Have An Assembly Video?
Sure do! Set up takes about a minute. Here’s how it’s done.
How Long Will They Last? Do You Carry Repair Parts?
We don’t know how long Garden Grids™ will last… for good reason!
We have original Garden Grids™ from 2012 still working today! If you can’t tell yet, product quality is really important to us. We design our products to set up easily and to last, so you can spend less time building, repairing, and replacing, and more time gardening!
Repair Parts: We understand accidents happen. Puppy think your Garden Grid™ was a chew toy? Accidentally dig through a tube, instead of soil? Garden Grids™ aren’t dog or shovel-proof (…yet) so in the meantime, we carry any part needed to keep your Garden Grid™ running smoothly for years to come. Just contact us and we’ll help get your Garden Grid™ back to 100%!
Should I Buy Standard Or Cornerless?
Our standard size fits most ground-level gardens and rectangular raised garden beds (like ours found here!) while our cornerless option is best for rounded-end or oval-shaped garden beds, or garden beds that have corner posts.
Important Tip: To ensure the best fit of a Garden Grid™ always measure the interior dimensions of your garden bed accounting for posts and and curved corners. Or simplify by using our All-In-One Raised Garden Bundles.
Can I Use Garden Grids™ In My Existing Raised Gardens?
Yes! The Garden Grid™ can be used in raised garden beds or at ground level. Please refer to the dimensions of the Garden Grids™ on the product page to see which size is the best fit for your raised garden bed.
What's A Manifold? What's A Riser Tube?
Garden Grid™ Manifolds help you connect multiple Garden Grids™. They also prevent heavy hoses from hanging from your Garden Grid™ if it’s in a taller garden bed (anything above 15″ tall) – they bring water up to your Garden Grid™ so your garden hoses stay on the ground. Manifolds don’t come with Garden Grids™, you can add them to your cart here.
Riser Tubes come with all Garden Grids™ and they’re used inside of your garden bed. You only need to use them when your raised garden soil isn’t filled to the top of your raised garden bed, making your Garden Grid™ sit below the top. of your garden bed too. The riser simply brings your Garden Grid’s™ connection point up to the top of your raised garden bed.
Here’s a video about the Riser Tube:
Here’s a video about the Garden Grid™ Manifold:
How Do I Connect Garden Grids™ That Are Spaced Apart, Using The Manifold?
The bottom of each manifold has an inlet and outlet for garden hoses. Connect a garden hose to the outlet side (capped side) and feed it to your other garden. Connect to another multi-Garden Grid™ connection manifold, or directly to a Garden Grid™.
Can I Connect Just One Garden Grid™ To A Manifold?
Can You Use Garden Grids™ In Hot Climates?
Of course! We test them in our home-state of Florida and they are enjoyed by gardeners in every state across the U.S. & Canada!
California Customer Proposition 65 Info
Who is required to display a Prop 65 notice?
Proposition 65 requires companies to put this notice on their products if there is any ingredient that tests over 1/1000th of what the World Health Organization deems as “Safe Harbor Levels” of their list of chemicals, which includes some naturally occurring minerals. While many countries and states rely on federal governing bodies to set these levels in place, California has created their own law and stipulations that companies must adhere to if they plan to do business in the state of California. No other state or country enforces Proposition 65 law aside from the state of California. When a company includes a Proposition 65 warning notice on a product page or label, it does not mean the product is unsafe. The warning notice is included to inform California consumers of the presence of a Proposition 65-listed chemical so the consumer can make an informed decision when purchasing the product.
California’s PROP 65
Formerly known as Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act, Proposition 65 requires the publication of a list of chemicals that the State of California determines causes cancer or birth defects. They also require companies that sell products that contain those chemicals to inform California residents about the risk of exposure to such chemicals by including a warning notice on the product label, or to inform the customer in an approved way before purchase. Proposition 65 warning notices can be seen all throughout California in restaurants, grocery stores, hotels, bars, schools, hospitals, amusement parks and on products such as lumber, pre-packaged food, various hardware, supplements, clothing, etc.
Our California Prop 65 Notice
⚠WARNING: This product contains a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer or birth-defects. For more information, go to www.P65Warnings.ca.gov
Although some Garden In Minutes products may have a Proposition 65 warning notice, the materials used in our products such as LLDPE tubing, ABS fittings, Stainless Steel, etc. are commonly used in everyday life, organic gardening, and even drinking water lines. Despite this, we add a Prop 65 warning to our product pages for Californians out of an over abunance of caution as a growing family company who cares about our customer. Thanks!

Customer Images The grid was easy to put together. I moved the inlet to the three square side to use an existing water connection for my three by four raised bed, which didn’t take long. In addition, I added a control valve to manage the water output. Having completed the modifications I turned on the water; the grids worked perfectly. I’m looking forward to using them when I get the veggies planted. This watering system is great. There is plenty of water in each square but it comes out a pressure that doesn’t damage tender young plants. Terrific concept and product!! Saved me so much time and agrevation building an irrigation system from “scratch”. My two comments are:
21 reviews for 3×4 Garden Grid™ Watering System (33.5″x44″)
First, the holes are not consistently punctured and many required a needle punch to allow water to flow;
Second, if it would be possible, it would be nice to offer the location of the feeder input fitting on either the side OR the end of a grid. I would have benefited greatly to be able to place the manifold at the end of a grid instead of the side. I’m still glad I invested in this product.
Garden Grid™ Corners
If the corners of your raised garden bed won’t work with the corner of the Garden Grid™, order cornerless! Bryan explains in the video below.
